It looks like a final drive spur gear for a differential. Unfortunately the second link is in Russian, so I'm not sure how much it'll help, but I went ahead and included it.

Reason: I think you are right that it is a final drive gear, however the teeth on mine are straight while others I find are angled. Are you able to find a 65 tooth gear with straight teeth?
