This is bottom half of connecting rod. Unknown what engine. Possibly marine diesel.

Thank you for your opinion, but it's not for a connecting rod. Someone else has identified it. It's a water cooled spindle motor mount.

This was certainly machinist made. It is a bearing cap for something. Only he would know.
