It appears to be a piston for a Pratt & Whitney airplane engine. Can you recheck the dimensions listed? By looking at the screen, there doesn't seem to be as big of a difference between diameter and height. I scaled my screen for 4 3/8" height and the diameter is 5" or a slight bit under.
