This isn't a cyl or a capacitor. Its a Automotive AC Filter/Dryer. 2 studs hold down the inlet and outlet line manifold to the top and the bolt head you see is where some vehicles use a low pressure switch cutoff. You take bolt out and screw in the small switch.

I cant find any actual reference even using the # that is on it, is it empty? what did it come out of? I am curious about it cause the # brings up something dealing with Sol-gel Coatings. But it looks very much like a refillable capacitor of some sort. Or at least a very large capacitor to something large, like a generator. But everything I can find isnt a good reference without more information like where'd it come from or out of. I did put the reference to Sol-gel, cause that could be a clue to what its from if it is indeed coated with this type of protective material.
