This is a Triumph transmission cluster gear. These were used in Triumph Spitfire, Triumph TR7, MG Midget 1500 and Austin Marina. These come with different tooth counts for application so they must be used with the matching mainshaft gear set for correct gear mesh. Since I don't have a tooth count I can't say exactly what car this would go in. See URL for one used in the Triumph Spitfire or MG Midget 1500.
