This is a cluster gear and main shaft for an early Ford 3 speed transmission. There were three different gear sets used in Ford transmissions during the production run between 1932 and 1952. This appears to be what is considered the "late" type (1939 and later) because of the spiral spline and the double ring syncro hub. Since you don't supply exact measurements I can't be more accurate as to the exact year only that it's 1939 or later. The URL supplied shows all the versions of the transmission gears that Ford used with measurements and detailed photos.
