This is a 2-piece driveshaft support sometimes called a driveshaft carrier. These are used in place of the rubber mounted kind on 4x4 vehicles where extra strength is needed, basically it's a high strength pillow block. These are can be bought ready-made for a custom installation or they can be homemade with off the shelf yolks and bearings to mix and match the drive-line to the transfer case and differential. some come with mounts, some don't. These are do-it-yourself parts for building a custom drive-line.
