  • This is a bowstring or centralizer for oilfield logging tools. It's hard to tell from the picture but it's either a inch and three eights or inch and eleven sixteenth. I can't see the connection well enough but it looks to be a Halliburton or Schlumberger style of centralizer. Possibly a Baker Hughes style. Their are many many different sizes and styles of this type of bowstring. These are used in wireline logging operations

It does seem to have those flex blades but this thing is way bigger than a valve cleaner. If you are able to find a match online I can pay immediately. I'd really like to know what this is.

It is for deburring a valve guide or hole after using a knurling tool to get an out of spec. diameter back in spec. I have some of these in my old valve grinding tools

Thank you for the opinion, but this item is a lot bigger than an acrolap tool. This is 2.5 feet long and weighs a few pounds.
